I want to replace my powerd Onkyo SKW-530 sub with a passive Jamo SW-500 on my Onkyo HT-R530 receiver. If I connect the front left and right speakers thru the sub and then into the receiver how much power is my subwoofer receiving? The receiver puts out 110w per channel so does that mean the sub would only be getting 110w? The Jamo sub long term power is 140w and short term power is 200w and it is 8ohms. Im looking for the best possible way to hook up this sub to my system. Im thinking the Jamo is better then the Onkyo SKW-530 the onkyo is (1) 10" woofer and the back panel says 150w and the max the receiver says 230w for the sub. the jamo is (2) 10" woofers and 90db,30-200 Hz +/- 3hz .......sorry if i made anything confusing any help would be great thanks
