I shall be shortly receiving a Crystalio 3100 and was wondering if anybody could help with this question:
One of the things I really like about my Gefen 4x2 switch was the way that HDMI cables had a thumbscrew fitting which secured the cable to the unit.
I see on the pictures of the back of the 3100 that there are screws right above the HDMI input, and was wondering if indeed these are for the purpose of securing a cable or simply part of the frame.
On the sources I have simply made some wooden chucks to support the cables, so there wouldn't be any perpedicular pressure on the socket.
Thanks,
Andrew.
