Tried a serach on this and realy did not know where to put it.

I am looking for a good overall video converter.

Primarly want to convert many WMV files to MOV,MPG4,AVI. (not so fond of WMV)
Some video clip stitching

I have found a lot of options on the web and all seem alright, but cannot find any peer reviews of which may be better.

Any 2cents would be much appreciated.
