What's the best cleaner to use for LCD's? I was looking at my screen closely the other day and noticed some spots on it. I used the lcd cleaner I had, but the spots didn't come off. It actually looks like tiny spray paint spots, but I may be wrong.

I use Windex on my PC monitor and notebook LCD's without any issues.

Do not use any (includes Windex) alcohol based cleaner on LCD, RPTV or any plstic cover screen. Look for non alcohol based gel cleaner.:D Sima works well.

I use a product called Clearkote's Quickshine. It's actually a quick detailer product intended for cars but it's extremely safe, cleans excellent and discharges the static build on the screen that attracts dust. Use it with a quality microfiber and you won't be dissapointed. A search will bring up several vendors that you can purchase from online.
I use plain water on a non-abrasive cloth.

Water can be a good cleaner but in water there is no surfactant to reduce surface tension so it can sometimes take more rubbing to clean finger prints and smudges. The product I use also reduces the static electricity that attracts dust.

Monster Cable Ultimate Performance TV Cleaning Kit (http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/Monster-Cable-Ultimate-Performance-TV-Cleaning-Kit-TVCLNKIT/sem/rpsm/oid/52581/catOid/-12888/rpem/ccd/productDetail.do) works for me extremely well. It is a gel so when you spray on the screen it does not drip, and wipes off easily and leaves no residue.
