For those of you that own one or are experienced with this model is there a way to check the hours on the panel? and how does this tv process SDTV? Over all picture quality? I have an opportunity to pick one up used for about $600.00 and only 5 months old. The owner says he's barely used it. My viewing distance will be about 7-8 feet and will be mostly viewing broadcast TV with comcast cable and split between SD and HD. Occassionally will watch a movie with a progressive scan dvd player.
