Need to help here guys. I'm looking for a good PS3 1st person shooter that is not only multi-player online, but also has a fun 2 player coop with missions and teamwork, etc.

Resistance Co op offline was pretty fun if you don't mind split screen.

Wait for Resistance 2... or get Haze I guess.

Sorry but the best options are on the 360 now (Gears, Halo 3).

Yea i'm looking for one that can be played offline coop split-screen also for when my brother comes over. We played a demo which I can't seem to recall the name of that was fun so looking for something similiar that is good....

Army of 2 is a good 2 player co op game. Sucks as 1 player though. The computer is not a good partner.

He's better off getting Resistance as a Greatest Hit than Haze. It has offline co-op.

Another vote for Army of 2. My roommate and I rented it for his 360 and really enjoyed it. I could see where it wouldn't be nearly as much fun single player though. It REQUIRES a lot of good communication.

rainbow 6 vegas 1 or 2 is a good choice too.

Both Vegas games are ok, but I think the only one that is worth its price tag is Resistance.
