Hi,

I've just started with ColourHCFR and calibration in general. :)

As I can't get the colourspace to occupy the whole 709 colourspace (R & G are lacking) I can aim for a bit lower delta E or a more correct delta luminance (Samsung LE32A456 + HTPC)

As I obviously can't get both correct what would look best? Is the human eye more sensitive to delta E errors or delta luminance?

I've included both colorhcfr files, the first one (nr7) is more correct for delta luma, the second one for delta E

thanks!

I believe this is exactly the same problem I'm experiencing.

I'd be interested to know as well.

I generaly prefer to reduce Delta Luma but not at all costs. IME balancing a point where both are lowest instead of only one being low is better. I also prefer a positive delta luma vs a negative.

In the end your going to have to 'eye-ball' it.
