I'd like to edit SR11 HD footage using Vegas Platinum 9, then move the edited footage back to the camcorder, but I haven't had any luck.

It seems that Vegas Platinum 9 will write only to HDV/DV camcorders, not HDD. I can move .m2ts files from Picture Motion Browser to the SR11, but I haven't found a way to render the Vegas output to a format that PMB will accept. If I render the Vegas output to Sony AVC output, the output file is .mp4, and PMB won't recognize it (even if I try to fool PMB by renaming the .mp4 to .m2ts).

Any suggestions on how to get the stuff from Vegas to the SR11 (in HD, of course)?
