Hello,

i'm plannung my CIH theatre and wanted to buy a "second hand" dvdo iscan HD for vertical stretch.
I would use it with my PS3 and the Epson EMP TW 700 projector.
But i'm not sure, if this scaler is able to stretch the image vertically for full panel height...?

Thanks for your help :)

Are you looking at a HD or HD+? I have a HD+ feeding a Mits HC1500 (720P). If I send a 720P signal from my cable box (DVI) to the iScan, it has no problem doing the vertical stretch. I don’t have a blue ray player yet so I can’t comment on that. I also send the HD+ a 480i signal (Component) from my DVD player then send a 720P (DVI - HDMI) to my PJ with no problem with the stretch. Don’t forget the HD/HD+ doesn’t have a HDMI port so you need to use the DVI ports.

I'm looking at a "HD" :)
Yeah, but i'm a little bit afraid that the HD won't do the stretch like the HD+...

But if it would be able to do this, it would be a very cheap possibility für the stretch :)
