I need to calibrate my TV, I have a Panny th-50pz80u

I just spent a lot on the setup but I don't have much cash left to pay someone to get a ISF calibration done by a pro.

Will the Avia II disc work to get me decent results? Good enough or just ok?

what should I expect to pay for the disc and where to buy it at?

yes Avia II is great, you can buy it at most any DVD retailer, or online. Locally you may need to have it ordered. I don't know what it goes for, I thought it was like $50, but you likely can find it cheaper online. I recommend the disc.

Agree, a great DVD. Does not match ISF calibration, but with some patience, you can have excellent results.

It's pretty self explanitory - guiding you through each part. You should have no problem following it and it's also very educational if you've never use one like it before. Good luck and enjoy your system!!!

For the past year we have heard about AVIA coming out with a BR calibration disk. I have been waiting, and waiting,,,,and waiting,,,,,,,any news on this?

I have Avia II as well as DVE Blu-ray....I find Avia II much better at explaining exactly what you should do without rambling on like the DVE narrator. Once you get used to using the disks it doesn't matter so much however..

What may be rambling to you may very well be foundational instruction for someone new to this area of interest.

No, and I've been a dealer for Ovation Multimedia for about 8 years. Don't hold your breath....the ultimate outcome may not be reversible.:(
