Anyone know if the 360 version of Far Cry 2 will have 4-player split screen play AND..... maintain that with two system linked 360's?

I want to play this with 8 people on two off-line 360s.

When FarCry came out for Xbox 1 my friends and I loved the map maker and were all set to spend days playing this as an alternate to Halo 2.... However, low and behold, when system linking two Xboxes for multiplayer, the split screen option goes away and you only get 1 player per Xbox - lame.

I REALLY hope FarCry 2 is NOT programmed that way. Anyone know?
