:D:cool:

When I first got my Lumagen Radiance and Sim2 C3X 1080 some months ago, I found that using the Radiance for Blu Ray and HD DVD was problematic, both due to 24p problems and a slight softening of the picture. So I used the Radiance for all but Blu Ray and HD DVD, and I used a Zektor switcher for high definition disc.

Lumagen has since updated Radiance software to correct for that.

About a month ago, I hooked up all sources through the Radiance. 24p works flawlessly and that's using the defaut EDID. And the picture is as sharp as ever.

Give this round to my dealer, Mark Haflich, who was confident this would work out, and to The Bland, who has been a faithful Radiance luver forever!!!

it can't have been that good of an experience, or you are very tired, because there is a mere total of 3 exclamation points in a Bruzonsky post. An all time record.

I like my Radiance too but as long as 1080i60 to 1080p24 for film material is not working yet it remains unfinished. Once this work it does all I need (except maybe EE removal).

I've got an input setup for Blue Ray/HD DVD (same HDMI input as one HDMI line from my Integra 9.8 preamp/processor for both of those sources) for 1080p60 output, an input at
1080p24 output, AND also a special 1080p24 output with a 2.5 aspect ratio, which is my special memory for watching below the screen captioned 2:35/2:40 Blu Ray/HD DVD discs.

Yea, when Lumagen in the next few months hopefully comes out with its firmware upgrade for 1080i60 and 480i60 to 1080p24, I will setup new memories for that, too.

Pretty darn cool!!!

EE removal is something we've yet to see on consumer level products. Most people have no clue the difference it makes. Im guessing it would probably become one of the more popular features if it were added. I have faith Lumagen could pull this off. I heard they were looking into it. I hope theres enough room in the FPGAs left.
My radiance is out on loan so I had no idea 108060 to 24 was not working yet. Thats a must have for me as well. Im sure that one will be coming soon.

Thanks. Like I said, I wish I could see an honest before/after with the best of Lumagen and.or Teranex, see what Alan thinks is worth $50K.
