This is the fix for SSX until a new one comes out. The game looks great too. I wish the demo didn't kick you out because you have to go through the tutorial again. Day 1 purchase.

on the PS3 demo, which I assume is the same, after the race you can hit square to restart the Italy track. Assuming the demo is the same, there may be a similar button to press on the 360.

Did you watch the video loop after completing a race. I was able to get the special moves when you hold down both LB/RB. It talks about 16 players online and customization. It also shows off some of the moves which states it will be 70 in all.

Is this a race type game? Not trick based? I want a new ssx type game. I can't wait if it truly has MP.

It is primarily a race game with tricks that give you boost to go faster in the race. Just like SSX's race modes. So trick big to get big boost and go super fast. But if your trick goes bad, you're going to end up losing a few places in the race. A very good risk/reward model that is very similar to SSX.

It will ship with 35 tracks.

The demo is going up on XBox Live and PSN on Thursday.

If indeed there will be an online demo I'll ck it out, I love the ATV games from the ps2 era...I'm holding out for Motorstorm 2 pacific rift right now but this is sounding good....and I just left gamestop buying a new psp game...argh

Time will tell but I'm more excited for Baja from the devs that used to be at Rainbow Studios. They made the Motocross Madness, MX vs ATV series.

Pure is from Climax who made Moto GP.

One thing for sure is that between these games and Motorstorm 2 its a great time to be an off-road racing fan!!

i _think_ the same team that did the ps2 atv offroad games are doing pure. someone will know for sure. atv offroad was imho one of the best atv.offroad games i have ever played. everything just felt right

Trust me. They're not going to have 35 different environments. I think I actually read 7 so 5 tracks each.

cool demo, well made game. Keeps you going with fast restarts. Trick system is cool how you have to progress to unlock B and Y move sets. Looks like a winner!

played it some more. I'll tell ya, that demo music is some of the worst I've heard. Not that it's a big deal or anything, but wow. Great racing though I enjoy this demo

yeah, that's pretty bad too. The worst music in a game is Burnout 3 with Stryker the DJ. Full of Blink 182 clones and cheese hip hop

The demo was fun. Very nice to look at but I can't see the game worth $60 to me. Too much other stuff coming out.

Thanks for the heads up on the Demo, this game for some reason had slipped under my radar. The kids and I had a blast with it today, will most likely pick it up after the price drop, or a good used deal comes along.

I picked up the demo to check it out. It was a nice break from the FPS games which tend to dominate the 360. I'm not sure if I would plunk down $60 on this title but will definitely pick it up when it drops in price a bit.

This game was really fun and the graphics are superb. I'm looking forward to buying this game. Playing online should be a blast !!

Pure delivers an outrageous, arcadey off-road racing experience with style and slickness. The controls are intuitive, the tracks are pure eye candy and the tricks are so crazy and over-the-top that you’ll find yourself gasping with glee when you land your first Lazy Girl. Although it’s a blast to play, it’s not the deepest game out there, and we found ourselves wishing for just a few more modes, tracks and options to round out the experience. But overall, Pure is just pure fun, and that’s what it’s all about.

I played the MS2 demo and Pure demo again, and based on that, I still think Pure is the better game. Something about MS2 just feels wrong. Like it's too floaty or something. They feel more like hovercrafts than trucks.

if i remember correctly, i think that it was been posted here that the release date for Pure is the 23rd, but i saw that the BB add from Sunday showed that it's arriving this Wednesday. has anyone seen or heard of it actually being released this week? i know those adds are printed months in advance, and release dates change all of the time, and i was just wondering if anyone has heard anything of a release date other than the 23rd?
