Videohelp.com member RabidDog alerted me to a consumer DVDR that he said could record DD5.1 audio!
I downloaded manual, and it CAN record DD5.1 via a digital coax input.
WOW!
It's a Philips DVDR5520 or 5570.
It's for sale everywhere... EXCEPT N.A.!!!!!!!
