There are HD recording methods available but the ones that work well are fairly expensive . - Jason jameswouldgo 08-30-08, 03:27 PM If it is the model that only has the RF input then you will need the RF adapter for the Xbox 360 , once assigned to the right channel you should be able to record the 360 feed at 480i (don't expect great quality recordings and certainly no HD) . For s-video recording you need to buy an s-video output cable for 360. (I've seen them for $10 or so) For composite, all you need to do is flip the switch on the component video cable to TV and use the yellow cable for video. I've hooked up my DVD recorder that way to record some game trailers and game sessions on DVD. Works reasonably well... In case anybody is wondering, that does *not* work with VM content, movies or TV; both are flagged as copy-protected. <shrug> rdank 08-30-08, 04:37 PM And lots of these introduce a slight delay writting to the harddrive which would make most things unplayable. You'd have to split the signal coming out of the unit. jameswouldgo 08-30-08, 10:41 PM And lots of these introduce a slight delay writting to the harddrive which would make most things unplayable. Just go and give it a try first... jameswouldgo 08-31-08, 04:44 AM o ok thanks for all the help thank you everyone who helped me |
