Looks like they're taking this year off, didn't see anything about a new game. That whole Jackass influenced gimmick mission thing they had going on wore thin, especially compared to the masterpiece SKATE. So is there any news about a new game or am I just out of the loop?

They are taking a year off, but I think doing something for Wii and DS with gimmicky controls instead.

There is an interview with Neversoft guys where they are mocking Harmonix's reaction to their introduction of cymbals on their GH drumset that is probably them projecting their own reaction to seeing skate. for the first time. Once skate. came out Tony Hawk as we knew it was dead.

For anyone that is here that hasn't already played Skate, go buy it now. Best skating game since Tony Hawk 2 on Dreamcast.

I think Skate already buried the franchise. No matter what comes out from Tony Hawk next, its gonna have an uphill battle to get noticed again.

AND, by the way, I think Activision was all too happy to sit on TH this year, so they can devote more Neversoft staff to Guitar Hero before THAT franchise is burned to the ground.
