So, I've finally killed DirectTV. I refuse to give money to Comcast.
I get all my fix from OTA on two TiVo HDs and my non-OTA from iTunes or on disc. Even with two children with a Disney/Nic fix (and my own adult swim issues) I save enormous amounts of $$$ this way and the convenience of aTV + TiVo is just too hard to ignore.
I've taken to searching around YouTube rather than surfing. I think the only thing I miss is Sportscenter, and that's mostly an illusion.
I also appreciate that the latest aTV software makes the difference between synced and streamed content look invisible. I have given in to ease-of-use.
