friend of mine went to a press event for this game earlier this month...i thought it could be something worth picking up initially but im actually looking forward to it now...not sure how long im going to stick with finishing out these madden franchises...this looks like a good mindless alternative...any thoughts

any game where you can target bodyparts with your hits gets my dollar. You can even rupture someone's testicles from what I hear.

the rupturing testicles ability is a big draw for me...i mean who doesnt want a game where you can do that...im all over that one...

Should be a nice change a pace.. and great for some laughs. I remember we played the hell outta Blitz on the N64. Back in like 1997/98..

right there with you on that...the diversion factor alone is well worth...plus its a great game to throw in when a bunch of people end up at your place...

just turned my kid brother (madden fanatic) on to it...loves it so far...

Anybody playing this? I love video football but NCAA09 just isn't getting it done when all you have to do is get to the corner and watch the horrid angles the CPU takes as you run downfield.

I bought the original Blitz The League (was it Xbox1?) just to spite the EA exclusivity deal and try to show that non-licensed football could sell, but I never really got into it. I've got a new mindset now: since I'm playing extremely unrealistic football right now with NCAA, why not try some over-the-top NBA-Jam style football?

haven't played it yet. Read some positive reviews, some not so positive reviews. I think you need a sense of humor to really enjoy this game. Loved the first one
