Hello all,

I am using an Universal MX-3000 and have been able to get the IR codes for the apple remote to control an Apple TV. Works OK with one problem, holding down the up and down (- and +) on the Apple remote scrolls through long lists of movies and songs in an accelerating fashion. The codes I learned don't seem to work properly, you have to push the "+' or "-" repeatedly. I've set the "Repeat while button pressed" option in the button option to no avail.

Has anyone else seen this problem, or have some suggestions to get this working.

Thanks in advance,

Ben

This is a known problem. Did you learn the commands? Try this
The IR database codes works great, try these steps:
1. Load new configuration with only 1 device the Apple TV IR
2. Unplug any RF basestation and test codes line of sight
3. If this doesn't work right away, take a look at this document:

Thanks for the response. Yes I did learn the commands myself, as a lowly consumer I only get the non-updating software from Universal. If you know where I can download a file with database Apple remote IR codes let me know!

I will try line of site testing without the base station.

Thanks,

Ben
