The system I am working on has a Lutron shading system in the theater that has an IR receiver spliced onto 16/4 in the closet.

I made a bad decision while working on all of the cables in the rack and cut the 16/4 to shorten the length. I cut out a large section of the cable and spliced the IR receiver back on. It seems now that I have cause the system to short out and do not know how to regain control of the shades. Does anyone have any possible solutions to fixing this problem so that I can sleep at night and so that my customer does not kick my ass? ;-)
