I have an older sony model that worked great for me for years and it just died on me. My only complaint was that it did not work with my PS3 blu-tooth remote. Will this newer model work with the PS3 remote?

You will have to get some kind of an IR receiver, or IR to Bluetooth converter in order for it to work.
