This makes so mad, remotes should have a lifetime warranty:mad:

I turned the tv off at night and wake up to it dead for no apparent reason, no battery acid and it was always on the floor so didn't get dropped.:confused:

Anyone know what I can possibly do to fix it? Also the remote has no screws so I have no clue how to open it.:mad:

I have a cheap universal remote but lots of features like the tv guide,freeze screen, and PIP, won't work, do more better ones emulate the whole thing and will work or do I need to buy a new remote for like $50!:eek::mad:

OMG!!

I just said f it and started to tear apart from the sides because no screws and it worked
but was had to crack it open, actually I never got it fully open,anyway I just lifted the rubber number pad and blew real hard inside and put batterys in and BAM it works:)
