My projector has about 1600 hr on the bulb and it will not turn on. There is a lamp led on the top. When the bulb is out the led should stay on. When I turn on the projector the lamp led will turn on for about 1 sec. The projector sounds like it is trying to energize about 3 time and it will turn off. there is a board between the lamp and the psu. I belive it is a inverter. I tested the voltage and there is dc voltage going from the psu to the inverter. On the output side of the invert where it go to the lamp there is no power ac or dc. Does anyone know what the problem is?

Thanks

Bulb has popped. May as well upgrade now as the bulbs for those are upwards of $300+...

They don't have to pop to be at end of life. If there is a large ballooned area at the lower part of the filament that's another sign the bulb is gone.
