Hey Guys,


I am thinking about getting a projector and wanted to go with a 110" screen. the room that I want to put it in is 17' deep. But the problem I have is I have a 12" support beam that is hanging 3' in front of the wall that I want to put the screen on. Will this prevent me from putting the screen on that wall? I wanted to ceiling mount the projector and the ceiling is 8' tall. The projector that I am currently think about is the mits hc1500. I wanted to keep the projector in the 700.00 range. You shouldn't have any problem. All of the following will ensure the light beam clears the support beam.
1. distance of pj lense from the ceiling
2. vertical offset of the pj image
3. distance of top of screen from the ceiling
