I can't get get my Canon HF100 HDMI to show up on my LNS4695D tv. Can anyone help??? I'm going crazy!

i don't own either item, but i do have a different model samsung tv. is yours set up correctly at this point to display footage from your camcorder? on the model i have, i would have to go into the menu of the tv and select the right input source. also, some camcorders don't work correctly when directly hooked up to a tv unless they are in the correct mode for displaying on a tv and running off adapter rather than battery power.

I have no problem playing from HF100 directly via HDMI on my Samsung LCD TV using battery power. There should not be any settings necessary. Check your HDMI cable.

Are you using a mini HDMI adapter? Or a mini to HDMI cable?

It's hard for us to isolate where the problem is in your setup.
One way is to take your HF100 and miniHDMI cable to a store like Best Buy, and try hooking it up to one of their TV. If you can get a picture there, then you know the problem is in your TV. Otherwise, it could be the cable or HF100 at fault.
