You'll be impressed with the AE2000 coming from the projector you have. The AE3000 is coming out, but I think it's a safer bet to go with the AE2000 given the popularity and lack of issues (aside from dust blobs).

On a side note, AVS should give you a sizeable discount on a new projector given the amount of excellent material you've provided to the forum...

the 2000 is a great unit...but I'd definitely hold off a few weeks as the price will most likely drop a good bit very soon.
