Hello everybody, first post, I've been a lurker on these forums for awhile. Purchased my first plasma display, a Panasonic TH-42PX80U. The problem I am having is using this TV as a second computer monitor. I only use it for playing movies, but when the display is set to "Full" mode there are black borders on all sides of the image (Top, Bottom, Left, and Right). 720p and 1080p content from my computer has the borders, even the desktop image doesn't fill up the whole screen. The odd thing is, the mouse can be moved into and moved around in the black areas on the side, and windows like a Firefox browser fill up all of the screen, so it knows that the area is available but it's not using it. Any suggestions? I was thinking maybe make a custom resolution in the NVIDIA control panel, but I'm not sure. I'm using an NVIDIA 8600GT with a dongle that came with the card, and outputting via component to my TV. Thanks in advance for the help!
