i have a sony DVP-C660 and tried the code a million times to change the region but doesnt work. on any site that i go to it gives me the same hack info for my player it says to hit on the remote while the player is off title clear then power yes it takes me to a blue menu screen but all it is is a test mode menu which gives you the info of your player wont let me change anything ive tried many times. if anyone has any info on a hack that does work for my player please let me know. thanks

the hacks do not work on Sony's region 1 players. The region coding is fixed. Since Europe and Asia do not sell as many players, they use software coding for the regions to maximize production. Region 1 sales are high enough where they just hard code the units.
