I'm kind of in a jam... I sold a HT to a customer that had an existing Aquos LCD monitor that he wanted to reuse. He told me that it had a VGA input. I wrote the scope to include a wireless keyboard and ran RGBHV to his adjacent office so he could display his PC on the theater TV. Well... stupid me, I'm usually pretty thorough but I didn't do my research on his model # and when it came time to install I found out that there is no VGA input... now he's adamant about having it. I bought a $50 Lengkeng unit off of ebay that promised to convert VGA to HDMI at 1024x768 @60Hz... I tried testing it on my set-up... no luck. I get "unsupported resolution" on my Bravia HDMI input. Has anybody successfully done his conversion with good results? What product can you recommend? As an alternative, can I simply use a VGA to component cable? Will the Aquos support VGA sync levels on the component input? What is the quality like? (I'm a commercial guy relatively new to HT, so I'm still learning consumer gear and the limitations) Thanks in advance for the feedback!
