I am new to this forum...
I am using canon ZR 700 camera since a long time but nowadays it doesnt record sound..but camera can playback old tape which has sound...if anyone can help..:confused:

Is it possible you changed a setting on accident? In this case, changing a setting in the camera to use an external microphone instead of the camera's internal mikes? Maybe it was dropped and somehow the internal mikes are broken or a connection was broken? Some possibilities to think about.

Thanks for ur reply juan & elifino..i havent change setting in camcorder...my camera doesnt support external mic..is there anyway to change camcorder in factory default settings...?Elifino can u tell me easy way to clean head?
