I have a Vizio VU42L TV and a Samsung HT38 home theater. I have the audio out of TV connected to the home theater and using it as the reciever. I have programmed the Vizio remote to control my Tivo, as well as the Samsung home theater. I want to make the Vizio remote's volume control change the Home theater volume in any mode (TV, VCR, DVD or CBL). I had done this earlier with and after market universal remote with my old tv.

Can someone please help. Thanks in advance!

If this is a UEI made remote, try the following:

1. press and hold SETUP for two blinks
2. enter 9 9 3
3. press AUX or DVD device key, whichever has the working samsung code.
