So, has anyone had to go through a warranty process on one of these yet? How painful/drawn out was it?

I have less than 45 hrs on the bulb (installed less than 10 days) and as of last night, looks like I have 4-6 stuck pixels.

I am less than thrilled.

I hear your frustration. Mine has only 7 hours on the bulb and an input processing board has gone on it. I can not get any signals from HDMI, VGA and Component inputs. Unless I want to watch everything through S-Video, it's practically useless. I'm in Australia too which makes it worse seeing as it is a US product. I too would like to know about peoples experiences with Mitsubishi's warranty process.

had my hc1500 for about 4 months and the "circuit protection" lights came on (made a couple posts on this) called mits on Monday of last week, got an RMA on Tuesday, and sent it out usps priority wed. tracked it and they got it Friday. just for the hell of it i called toady and they were in the process of looking at it. very fast so far.
i have read in here that its hard to get a hold of mits. i had no issues, and never a busy tone, and they literally respond to e-mails within 12-24 hours.

we will see what happens in the next day...the tech i talked to says the turn around time from when they get it, to when they send it back is 72hours.

Just happy I sprang the extra coin for the best buy 4 year coverage. I never understood why anyone wouldn't do that. It's discontinued for a reason!

Differnt strokes...

I'd rather be without for a few days and pocket a couple hundred dollars. Much as I love using it, it's not worth $75/movie to watch it, lol.
