This weekend we lost the digital audio signal on the cable (Cox cable SA 3100HD)
Well the last time this happened it was because the RCA jack had been pulled out of the receiver.
This time it wasn’t. I replaced the cable, still no digital. I checked all the settings on the receiver, (which is a lot to remember!) still no digital, we had sound.
I checked the settings on the cable box, and it said “digital” was selected. I thought maybe there was no digital signal today. I checked several channels.
So I check everything again and again. I was about to cry that my digital was out on the receiver when I checked the cable box audio setting one more time, It said digital, but I pressed the button and it went into the settings, (digital, analog) and I clicked on digital, even though it was already highlighted. Well that fixed it. The amp immediately started to receive the digital signal. I was dumbfounded so I went out of the program and back into it, it still said “digital”.
So if this happens to you……
