Hi,

Been having an issue this past year with a good amount of mitsubishi XD1000U lamps cutting out far too soon. According to the manual, the lamp life should be 2000 hours in standard mode. The lamp becomes very dim anywhere between 200-900 hours though -- and on multiple xd1000 projectors. I try to boost the brightness controls, but this does not affect the image at all.

My rep is currently trying to research the issue, but to date he is not familiar with any known problem.

Obviously, burning through lamps too quickly is not going to make my company happy, so a continuing problem will most likely cause us to move to another projector brand for future upgrades and installs.

Was wondering if anyone has experienced this.
Any feedback that could be helpful would be appreciated.
