Anyone else catch this yesterday?

Apparently it rips DVDs while retaining the DRM. It is a "legal" method to ripping DVDs. $60 gets you a copy that lets you install it on 5 computers.

I remember trying that as a beta back in the Fall of 2006. I'm surprised it's still around...

I thought about using this back when it first appeared. Went a different route not knowing if it would be around long term to protect my ability to play-back;
I decided HandBrake to an Apple supported format (h.264) would be safer; Others are using Video_TS - another good option...
I'm also surprised to see it still floating around. At some point I suspect Apple will work a deal with studios to provide this kind service inside an mp4 container... especially with Kaleidescape finally winning their lawsuit...

I rip to VIDEO_TS folders myself if I even rip at all. I just don't have the disc space for it. I like what this app does, creates nice cover art and and gets all of the movie info. It appears to lock me into watching DVDs on Mac however.
