I made a mistake and pressed on the Denon AVR-1906 receiver at the same time as I was pressing buttons on the Denon 978 remote control. Now it is stuck and says" A.Delay OMS" on the receiver. I haven't been able to use the remote control since. Can someone help and tell me what to do. I don't want to reset it to factory settings because it's hooked up to appliances. Thanks.

Hooked up means that when I press "VCR" that is actually my satelite dish, etc. The remote does not control any of the functions of the appliances though. The all have their own remotes. So if I do a hard reset, would it still remember that the button "VCR" is satelite dish or it doesn't matter at all. When you do the hard reset. do you reset the remote or the receiver itself? I hope I don't have to reset the receiver itself because it is functioning correctly.
