Hey guys, I am not sure if this is the right sub-forum to post this in, so bear with me.. I have a set of klipsch s-2 coming in soon as my surrounds (running 5.1 not 7.1 so these are my main surrounds).. but I am confused of where to place them. My couch sits right up against the wall, I guess this creates a problem right? Their shape makes it even more confusing to me, since i think they should be placed in the corners behind the couch (like a foot away), but I cant do that. I guess I can put them right beside the couch and face them inward?

Please help me out, THANKS!!!

If you can, move the seating out away from the back wall.

thanks for the link, that what I found when I searched older threads on the topic... but my problem is that I cant move the couch. The room would look really really bad with the couch moved out from the wall... esp because it sits up against this big desk that sits along the wall with the couch...

I think you may be better off buying the B2 bookshelves and running them on the sides. I think the S2 's are designed to have sound dispersion and need some room behind the couch.

edit. I was thinking maybe the S2's would work well on the sides also. I guess you need to try them out.
