OK...sice the show is over, now it's time for me to make a decision: I know noone has their hands on the newest models yet, so comparison is like judging which apple is sweeter at the store without tasting it, but please give this your best shot.

My theatre room is framed and wired. The only thing left is where to put my electrical box in ceiling for which projector I will purchase. Will it be the New Epson 7500UB (or home version if not much different) or will it be the JVC SR20 (or home version if not much different)? The throw distance is about 3 ft different and I really need to make a decision here.

I also need help with two other things: Which screen size should I go with for a 15' wide room by 22'?

And lastly, I have 3k to spend on speakers...Best speakers (including sub) for that price?

Thanks for your help!

Why not RS10 vs 7500.

There is quite a price difference on the two projectors mentioned. Just a thought on the overall system...why don't you get the 7500 and take the rest of the money that you would have spent on the sr20 and add that to your speaker budget! The end result might be an overall more enjoyable system!;)

I also need help with two other things: Which screen size should I go with for a 15' wide room by 22'?I thought this article had some good ideas to start with:

You need to consider light output and ft-lambert levels if you are trying to go big, but first determining the screen size you want for your seating distance seems like a good idea.

In a room that size you could do 100-130 diagonal 16:9 easy. I have a 126 inch screen paired with the JVC HD1 in a dedicated room that is 14x22. Not sure if the newer models are brighter or not but it works great. Using Carada Criterion BW screen. Both seem like great projectors, Im thinking the new JVC since I own the HD1 and Im sure the new model would put me on the edge of my seat based on what I'm seeing. Im here in Japan so I should be seeing one soon.
