I have a extra (Comcast) Motorola DVR in my home that I have had around for a few years now. This one is not on my main tv. It was acting funny so I decided to follow these instructions (htttttp://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/How_to_use_a_Motorola_DVR/Resets#DVR_Authorization_and_Factory_Full_Reset) and do a full factory reset. The problem is now that the box works fine but the dvr is disabled and the tv guide (i-guide) software is no longer working. I can get regular and HD channels fine on the box. Does anyone know if I can get the guide software reinstalled myself or will I need to take the box to Comcast to have it replaced?
