Hi Ladies & Gentlemen.....I'm brand new to this forum and happy to find it.

In the process of purchasing my 1st front projector and hoping you folks can share your insight, advice, guidance, etc.

I'm looking at a Runco RS1100 Cinewide with Stewart 2:35 screen (about 120")
Reason why I'm favoring the Runco is the natural 2:35 option.
Seating will be about 12'-16' from screen and room width is about 16'.

Am I making the right decision with Runco, feel very comfortable so far but also looking for your thoughts, etc before dropping close to $15k on the PJ and screen.

Currently I have a 52" Sony XBR 5 which I love and hoping to be as close to picture quality to this.
