i was wondering if i was missing anything in my ht i know i'm askin you guys to compare subs of different sizes but i have the svs 10 and like it but i'm never satisfied i'm thinkin with the larger woofer and variable tune will the hsu go deeper for movies and be more flexable? i just watched cloverleaf with the svs (awesome)but would it be better with the variable tune from hsu(go deeper?)? i really like the room shakin thing! i got the svs because i have floating laminate floor i installed and the hsu has spikes didn't want to use a "throw" rug underneath the sub and thought the sub would vibrate seein it was a downward firing as opposed to the svs which of course is forward firing. my room is 12*12*8 13?? cubic ft. i'm pretty happy with the svs but i'm new to subs & ht just don't know if i'm missin something.

IMO for ht it may not be an upgrade much. For music maybe. I would either stack 2 Pb10 if you want more or upgrade to a Vtf3-3 or equal make it a worth it.. JMO

I wouldn't bother "upgrading" from the PB10-NSD to the VTF-2 MK3. As Ironmike86 said, it'll be more worthwhile to take a larger step up. Adding a second PB10-NSD or springing for something like an Epik Knight, eD A5-350, VTF-3 MK3, or Outlaw LFM-1 EX would be a much larger upgrade. Ironmike and I have both used dual PB10-NSD's and can tell you that they deliver a very good bass experience. Unless you get a serious case of upgradeitis (which unfortunately he and I both recently have), two PB10's are quite the bass setup for a moderately sized room.

Thanks for the response guys. Actually I heard my svs pd10-nsd from the 1st floor today and it sounded like it was gonna bring the ceiling down. So if anything I will probably go with another pb10-nsd, (if need be, which I doubt but I always want a step "up") just need to keep it calibrated "hot" if that's what it's called.
