Laser product represents ‘new level’ in projection

Evans & Sutherland has incorporated nanopixel technology in its new ESLP Laser Video Projector. The company claims the nanopixel technology utilises cool, efficient solid-state laser light sources to deliver good resolution, brightness and contrast.

Sony looked at this for years. But so far it hasn't made it to consumer merket. Maybe they licensed this technology and some think they can make a profit.

Looking forward to seeing more units

I also hope that E&S licenses the contrast improving process that Sony developed, >30000:1. E&S specifies greater than 2500:1.
The technology is good but the cost is not such that it works in the consumer market.
Kodak looked at a cheaper version GLV which was shown for ht applications but that was years ago.
