I have had the kds-60a3000 for about 7 months. I just noticed today a small black blotch in the left middle of the screen. It is definitely behind the screen. I also can see a few very small black specks in a few other areas. I can see them even when the tv is off with a flash light. I have a 5 year in home warranty and was wondering if this is something i can fix or should i contact the warranty company. The spot is not big but it is driving me nuts seeing it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You could remove the side cover on the rear and take a look to see if it something you can clean yourself such as dust, etc... If it is, you could use a microfiber cloth to remove the dust or whatever it is. Just be careful not to get anything on the mirror(fingerprints, smudges).
