I am planning on buying the TV on Amazon.com (since no forum sponsor answer my request for price comparisson) however I am wondering about it's extended warranty.
My initial thought was to by the 80 series Panasonic that is currently at COSTCO due to their 2year warranty however I am leaning more towards the 85 series Panasonic and that is not offered at Costco. The best price I found is at Amazon.com, however I am worried about the extended warranty they offer. I have read some of the reviews by Amazon.com warranty customers and they are not that "good". Therefore has anyone had any first hand experience with their extended warranty? Also are there any other options for extended warranty?

You don't have to buy an extended warranty and your TV from the same vendor. Check out the websites of the various forum sponsors - some list pricing for warranties of various duration (varies by original purchase price and length of coverage ...). You may get a better price by calling ... The key is to secure your warranty within 30 days of when you purchase your TV.
