So I am buying a new tv set here soon...

I had my sights set on this:
http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=8749483&type=product&id=1202649424961

Because well, its not too expensive, and its big, and its 1080p.

But when I was at my local Best Buy, that had an open model LED engine 61 inch Samsung DLP, but I cant even find the model there, so they must not carry it anymore?

But it has been on the floor for about 8 months or so. They want 1,500 for it, and it will come with the standard 1 year warranty deal the other comes with.

And ofcourse, I could just save 300 bucks more and get the 750 opposed to the 650 (61 inch DLP Samsung LED Engine)

What do you guys think I should do?

Funny, unless we happen to be talking about the same Best Buy, mine had the 61A750 as an open-box floor model special, too. I wonder if Best Buy is in fact dropping that set. (Mine still had the 67 on the floor.)

It wasnt a 750 guys.

I think it was a previous model (it had 87 in it, I know that)

Like the first LED model perhaps? Or was that the 750?

I am pretty sure it is not a 750 though.

This is what it is guys:
http://www.practical-home-theater-guide.com/samsung-dlp-television.html

The model is:
HL-T6187S

So, I assume the 750 is better than this model, right?

I would go with the 750. If the 6187 has been on the floor for 8 months, why bother with it?
