This poll is for those who have extensively compared, or owned more than one big plasma.
I am looking to buy a new big plasma [58"-60"] in a couple of months, but cannot decide which one.
I have basically narrowed it down to Panasonic or Samsung, as the Pioneer Kuro's are very expensive.
I watch about 60% HD programs, and about 40% standard def and dvds.
Black levels are important to me, but they are not top priority.
What is very important to me is very low picture noise, great standard def and dvd performance, a detailed, sharp high def picture, and color accuracy.
Thanks for your help!

Thanks for your help so far.
Looks like the Panasonics and the Pioneer are the current leaders.

Retitle your topic to something more interesting, then the kuro will be more numbers up

oh and i would get the pro-111 before i would get the 6020 (PQ vs size) and if you want or can get PRO-151 that awesome!

Dalton, I own a Pioneer 141 (60" elite model) and couldn't be happier. But I voted for the Samsung. Panasonics are great but really struggle with SD material. If you callibrate a 6020, nothing will touch it other than an elite. But if you're not going to callibrate, I think you'll get better color accuracy from a Samsung. That's what I've been reading from various callibrators. Good luck to you.
