hi guys

a friend of mine has a very distracting anomaly in the right corner of his Beamer picture, some sort of white fog/spot:
http://img519.imageshack.us/my.php?image=schatten1nd2.jpg

the Beamer is a Toshiba MT 500 (2 years old, 900 h)

unfortunately iīm totally clueless what could cause this kind of anomaly, but maybe someone here is more experienced in these matters
it would be great to know what causes it and if itīs repairable/reversable

thx in advance

Could be a smudge on the lens or perhaps a dust blob on the dmd panel. It's probably fixable by someone who knows what they are doing.

I had the same problem the other day, but after 20 min. the white spot disappeared again. I always watch in Low Mode and didnīt chance that.
Projector is a Mitsubishi HC 1100, lamp hours are 560h. It didn`t reappear since then.
If it was dust, it may just have been blown away.

I would say most likely something in the optical path. Might be worth having someone look at it.
