Hello folks,
This may be a silly question, and actually, as I write this, I think I may have just answered it for my self. Here it is anyway...My subwoofer has its own gain/crossover/phase control knobs. My receiver (Elite VSX94) also allows me to control the crossover point. I have the gain where I want it, the phase control I'm still playing with, but I'm wondering where to set the sub's crossover at when I have the receiver set at 80hz. If the receiver is only sending bass frequencies below 80hz, does it make sense to turn the sub's crossover all the way up? Does that make sense?
