Hi, my game room is about 11 x 10 x 10 with a window seat so add another 100 cubic feet. So the total cubic feet would be 1100. But, the room opens up to a hall way so I would guess the total cubic feet would be around 1500.

Currently, I have an OLD and SMALL Yamaha 6.5" subwoofer that came in a HTIB. So far, I have upgraded the fronts to a Polk Csi25 and 2 Polk r50's and the difference in sound was amazing to me. I was just wondering what the improvement in sound would be if I upgraded to a Velodyne Vx-10, can anyone tell me who has upgraded from a HTIB?

I mostly will use this for movie watching and a little bit of gaming, and little to no music.

I had an Awia 6.5 hitb sub. Went to a Vrp 10 which is similar. Sounded pretty good in comparison. What city are you in?

I live in the suburbs of Houston. Was the sound difference like WOW?

Yes in a small room. It took a Svs Pb10 before I said wow...but I could really tell the difference. It depends on how loud and how much of a bass head you are or become. If you have the cash I would step up in the $450+ range for wow. If not the Vx 1000 will sound ALOT better and you may get a wow in that small room. You may get window rattle probably not floor couch shaking which imo make best movie watching

I agree with Mike,
for the price, the VX10 really is a good deal...

I've run two VX10'S in a 1800^3 FT room with a carpeted concrete floor and they vibrate my seat. If you want to get the most out of this sub pm me and I'll provide you with the set up instructions which forum members regularly request from me.
