I am looking to upgrade to a "real" sub. My room is 12.5 x 25 with 10 ft ceilings (approx 3200 cu ft). Room is in a finished basement, with three walls of concrete slab, one wall of drywall, basically a rectangle).

My system currently consists of:

Panny 58PZ700U plasma
Yamaha V663 receiver
7.1 surround:
Infinity Primus C/L/R
Athena Dipoles R/L
Athena Rears
Dayton 10in sub (can't remember the model, sorry)
PS3 for Bluray
Direct TV HD receiver

Mainly use this for movies and TV (95%), and occasionally just to listen to music. I was seriously considering MFW-15 (then I read the whole av123 post, and got scared)...and was looking at the HsuVTF3 Mk 3 (don't know if I need turbo or not). Not sure if these are too much sub for this room or not. All of my speakers are black, so I am looking for a black sub (that makes it easy, I guess). Budget is 600-800 (kind of flexible, to allow for shipping costs). Also, woulk like to get the sub sooner, rather than later (don't want the horror stories of ordering in May, and still waiting...). Any suggestions?

The HSU 3.3 is a good choice. You can do without the Turbo. The 3.3 is not too much for your finished basement.

Good article to read:

Can't go wrong with the HSU or Outlaw.

Look at this one also it should kill for HT and probably be comparable to the MFW15. I haven't heard the Knight but I have an Epik sub. A Valor and it's a good sub.SO research that on also

If you read that post (AV123) from beginning to end, lots of complaints (buzzing, shipping delays, etc.). I see (and read) that you are very happy with yours, they look very nice too, by the way.
